Always good quality food and beverages, very welcoming on arrival, reasonably priced, good value for money. Only downside is facilities for wheelchair use. I am sure that will be on horizon Pet friendly. A comfortable and pleasant atmosphere .
My sister-in-law and I had the afternoon tea at Roobarb n Custard yesterday and it was lovely. I had never been there before and what a lovely venue it is. The afternoon tea itself was enormous, we took 2 doggy bags home!!!!!! On top of that the offer included a cocktail each! We would certainly go again and would not hesitate in recommending it. The tea was lovely, loads to eat, the venue fab and the staff very pleasant and helpful. All in all a perfect afternoon!!
This is the first time we have visited here and we were really impressed. We ordered the afternoon tea with cocktails. The cocktails were some of the best we have ever tasted, and we've tasted many! Afternoon tea was served in a wooden box, a really nice twist and very rustic. The food was of a really good quality and everything apart from the bread was made on the premises. It was great to be served such high quality leaf tea with our meal. Service was very friendly and relaxed and the decor was extremely pleasant with old marble original fireplaces, painted furniture and comfortable seating. Our only criticism was that it would have been nice to have had more fitting background music and empty tables could have done with a wipe over after customers left. We'll certainly be back and can highly recommend this establishment to others for a visit. Thank you for such a friendly welcome!
