Do not get the juicer. It has burnt all the components. Not for domestic use. Only used it once. I can see the smoke coming out the juicer and nearly burnt my kitchen. Dangerous and hazardous! Still waiting from them to reply.
We believe that the best way to judge a person or company is how they deal with problems when something goes wrong.Their after sales customer relations were excellent, our halogen oven arrived with damaged halogen bulbs, even though their literature says that the halogen bulbs are not covered under their guarantee, these were replaced without any quibbles by their sympathetic customer service personnel.The halogen bulb was very easy to replace and our oven was soon up and running perfectly. The oven is ideal for the two of us, wish we had bought one years ago, it does everything we need an oven to do and is fully supported on you tube with recipes and cooking instructions.
We have had nothing but excellent service from Andrew James. Their 5.2L food mixer has given many months of use and still seems as good as new. Their jam-making bowl has been used less but seems likely to be the only one I'll ever need. The service department was prompt and generous when I applied for a replacement for a part I had broken. Thoroughly deserved 5* rating.
We have a number of Andrew James products but have not needed to contact customer services until now. A fault developed with a year old vacuum sealer and an email to customer services brought about a very rapid response. In next to no time a new sealer was on its way to us and we were even able to use the packaging from this to return the faulty machine (at no expense to us). I have a very high opinion of Andrew James products and it is good to know that there is a first class customer service team ready to solve any problems with the minimum of hassle. Highly recommended.
Great customer service when I asked if the fondue forks were dishwasher safe. Yes they are. The 8 fondue forks I bought had pairs of forks with the same colour. Very useful as each person has 2 forks, one in the pot cooking, the second one ready to be prepared with food. Small tip - put some small pieces of carrot to fit on the end of the fork. This prevents food falling off
