A total douchebag!!!!!!Couple of weeks ago I have left my crashed R6 at James Price Motorcycles. After I paid him to store the bike for 10 days and empty the tank, he replaced my brand new varta battery with a FAULTY one!!!! When my bike got to Dublin, I immediately saw it's not the same battery. Straight away I called and asked him what happened with the battery on my R6 and he lied in my face!! He doesn't want to admit that replaced the battery on my bike with a faulty one!!! Like, who gaved you the permission to replace the battery on my bike?? This is unneceptable!!!! He also kept the bolts from the left fairing and the seat was unscrewed! This is how my bike arrived in your workshop? This guy is total jerk and I have never seen something like this before!!!! I hope you are ashamed of what you did, especially since you took money for that!!!

If it were possible to leave no stars I would. My son sold a bike to James back at the beginning of August which was on finance. James said that he would settle the finance via a cheque to Black Horse. We were concerned when a further payment was taken 2 weeks later by the finance company so we contacted James who assured us that a cheque had been sent and that when it arrived the payment would be refunded. After a further two weeks and several calls to the finance company no cheque was received. In fact no cheque was ever received and James eventually settled the finance via direct means. It caused us no end of aggravation trying to sort this mess out (we went as far as contacting the police at one point for advice). At one point we visited the dealership in order to find out what was happening. James was not there but we spoke at length to one of his employees who empathised with our situation and offered mitigation stating that James was having problems in his personal life. We had a very civil and productive conversation with this gent, accepted what he had to say and decided to give James more time to sort it out. Whenever we spoke to James it felt like a series of excuses: 'they'll have the cheque but it wont appear on their systems yet' (Black Horse say this is untrue), 'the cheque has been assigned to the wrong account' (again untrue), etc.The only reason I've decided to write a review (I normally never would) is because I've just got off the phone to James regarding a letter from the Motor Insurance Database stating that the bike is still registered with my son. I wanted to get the logbook reference number (he shouldn't have the logbook according to the police, but then I get the feeling James doesn't know what he's doing). James said that we must've got the finance sorted because he hasn't heard anything after we 'turned up at the shop shouting and screaming at one of his employees'. What utter rubbish. I am a state registered professional who works in the NHS and I resent my integrity being questioned by the likes of James Price. It may be worth considering that I advised my son against dealing with James in the first place as a couple of years ago I purchased an R1 from this dealership that, when I took it to be looked at a short time later, was found to be firing on only 3 cylinders (I'd noticed an intermittent knock in the handlebars). My son said 'well it'll be okay because I'm selling him a bike and not buying one, so what can go wrong?' You live and learn eh?!

Poor customer service experience even when dealing with the owner himself, lacking any sort of professionalism. Wouldnt use again, and definitely would not recommend!

Nice friendly place, not pushy in anyway. Good bikes at sensible prices.Easy accessibility and parking.

I was interested in a couple of bikes that were advertised at James Price motorcycles.I telephoned a few times last Monday (Bank Holiday) but got no response, fair enough I thought, they must be closed Bank Holiday Monday.Went out of my way to call in on Tuesday afternoon at 3pm to find a note on the door saying 'back in 15 minutes', I waited outside for over 20 minutes but no sign of anyone so I left.Drove to Seaham again today, arrived at 1.30pm (their website tells me they're open till 2pm on a Saturday) to find the shutters down again!Total waste of time, I won't bother returning...
